Splash Lane Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Launch Box LLC ("we", "us"), the maker of the game Splash Lane ("the game"). By downloading or playing the game you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't play.

Who can play

The game is meant for players aged 13 and older. If you are under 18, please have a parent or guardian read these terms with you.

Playing the game

We give you a personal, non-transferable right to install the game on devices you own or control and to play it for your own enjoyment. You may not copy, sell, rent, modify or reverse engineer the game, or use it to build another product, except where the law allows you to.

The game, its name, characters, art, music, sounds and code belong to Launch Box LLC or its licensors. These terms don't give you ownership of any of it.

Leaderboards and fair play

• Your diver name is made from words in the game, and your scores may be shown to other players on the leaderboards.
• Play fairly. Don't cheat, use bots or modified copies of the game, send made-up scores, or interfere with the game's servers.
• We check scores (for example by replaying the moves) and may hide or remove any score or player we believe broke these rules, without notice.
• Leaderboards, weekly treasures and rankings are for fun. They have no cash value and can't be exchanged for anything.

Ads

The game is free and supported by ads from third parties such as Google AdMob. We don't control the content of every ad, and your dealings with any advertiser are between you and them. How ads use information is described in our Privacy Policy.

Changes and availability

We may update, change or remove features of the game, its rules or its leaderboards at any time, and may stop offering the game. Some features need an internet connection and may not always be available.

Our Privacy Policy explains what information the game uses and why.

No warranty

The game is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We don't promise that it will be error-free, uninterrupted or that your progress or scores will always be kept.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Launch Box LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the game. Our total liability for any claim about the game is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the game (if any) or US $10. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

Ending these terms

You can stop using the game at any time by deleting it. We may end your access to online features, such as the leaderboards, if you break these terms.

App stores

You may have downloaded the game from the Apple App Store or Google Play. Their terms also apply to your download. If you got the game from the Apple App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies alongside these terms, and Apple is not responsible for the game or for supporting it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict of laws rules, except where the law of the country you live in requires otherwise.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, the new version will be posted at this address with a new "Last updated" date. Continuing to play after a change means you accept the new terms.
